Great Bike for the money. Fun and easy to ride.

I was looking for a "European Style" town bicycle that I could ride to the gym, grocery store, The local pub or even out to dinner. And I found it!! The bike came in great condition and mostly assembled. All I had to do was the front wheel, pedals, seat and handlebars. The bike came with an Allen wrench set that allowed me to do almost all the assembling in the first few minutes all by myself. YEAY!! It needed some adjustments and tightening after the first couple of rides as cables stretched and nuts loosened a bit (very typical). The only major thing off was the front wheel needed to be trued a bit which my bike shop was able to handle quite quickly. The bike is perfectly balanced and rides like a dream. It only has 7 speeds but the absence of a front derailleur is nice and simple. Plus, the super low first gear makes it nice if you need to climb a hill and don't want to stand up. Is the best bicycle ever made? No. But it is light, fast and easy to get on an off with the "Step through" frame that makes it easy to ride, even if you are wearing tight jeans or a skirt. It looks nice and holds a big ass front heavy duty basket (Not included) for your purse, groceries or anything else you might want to carry. If you are looking for the the perfect city or beach bike for a little bit of money, this is a great choice.

Decent Bike, but wish I had known it was only 7 speeds

Purchased the bike and when I received it realized there were only 7 gears which is kind of a bummer. Wish I would have done a little bit more research or that it had specified as such in the description. I would have bought something else had I known.
