What’s next?: 29ers. The larger diameter wheel is taking over, and with good reason. The Recoil 29 is the perfect beginner bike for those just getting into aggressive riding or those who are looking for an entry level full suspension rig. It was built with a solid platform in mind and is fully upgradeable should you so choose to step up your component package to the next level. Larger wheels are not the only goodies on this beast, We've added a SR XCT 100mm travel fork w/external preload adj. The Shimano SL-M310 Rapidfire 8-speed shifters control an Altus front and an Acera rear derailleur and the HG31 8spd Cassette (11-32t) combined with the SR Suntour XCC T202 crankset ( 24/34/42t) give you 24 mountain crushing gears to choose from. The Tektro Novela mechanical disc brakes with 6" rotors will provide all of the breaking power that you’ll need and the Weinmann SL-7 Doublewall wheelset will provide a tough and stable platform for your bike to roll on. Diamondbacks signature alloy AL6061 Ahead stem and SL318b oversized Mid Rise handlebar create the perfect cock pit while the SL309p Alloy Micro Adjust 30.9mm post and WTB VOLT Sport SE saddle ensure that you can pedal all day long. The 2013 Recoil 29 comes in a stealthy black/red and is available in sizes: SM (16"), MD (18"), LG (20")

Love this bike! I think it's the best higher-end entry level bike on the market for the money. I've taken it on some pretty technical single track rides now, and I'm loving it!! If you're considering getting into mountain riding, and you want a solid bike to get you where you wanna go for a good 5 years.....this is the bike...

A nice bike

I really enjoy bike riding and this product is appropriate for my current level. Its performance in rocky roads in the mountain has been excellent.
