Photo shows fenders and rack that are NOT included

Purchasing from Amazon would have been a great deal if it the item came as pictured--with fenders and rear rack. I received the correct bike with a few minor shipping dings, but those items were not included. The front brake was pretty much installed, which was nice. The bike looked really great, but I plan to use it for commuting and just can't use it as is. The missing items cost around $100 to be purchased separately and Amazon doesn't carry the manufacturer brand of them, so I decided to return the bike mostly out of principle. Also, I found as I opened the package that Dahon requires inspection/service by an authorized retailer before riding the bike, otherwise the warranty is not honored. My solution was to purchase a Vitesse D7HG (7 speed internal hub) online from an actual bike shop (NYCEwheels) that services the bike for free prior to shipping. If I remember to I'll come back and update how that process went. Update: they were out of stock. I found a local bike shop that had it; turned out better than expected.I asked Amazon to correct their description/image and the response was that they reviewed the images but that it didn't need to be updated.

New member of my family

The bike arrived as advertised and was delivered in 5 days. Fast. Bike looks and feels sturdy, strong, and fast. I have inflated the tires, lubed the chains, and looking forward to breaking it in this weekend.There is some clacking noise though, which i am trying to find out what and where, maybe the crank, BB or the hub. seems like a common problem. found the same problem with other Mu Uno owners online. because of this, the ride does not seem smooth and sweet, its like pedaling with a tick, tock, tick, tock. Hope Dahon has looked into this.I am planning to bring the bike to a local bike shop (there is no Dahon supplier in Dubai) to check the issue. I hope that its not a big issue. Otherwise, i will not buy another dahon bike online again.
