Finally, the bike's alloy black rims with tires to roll smoothly over pavement, grass, or dirt. Other features include alloy linear pull brakes and levers, an adjustable quick-release seat, a three-piece ATB crank, and a rust-resistant powder coating.

Great Bicycle

I love the bicycle. After much research and trying out different models in stores, I chose this one over other more expensive models. After a few months of riding the bike 2-4 times a week for fitness and errands, I am completely satisfied that I made the correct choice. I didn't have the several hundred more dollars to spend on a lighter frame, etc. I was prepared to spend up to $200.00. I spent much less on this and used the extra money a gel seat, headlight and rear blinker, proper chain lube. Not regretting it yet.

EXTREMELY UPSET WITH PURCHASE

I was so excited to receive this bike. When it arrived, I noticed that the packaging had a hole and I could see a tire. Being a single woman, the convenience of having the bike shipped to me was the reason I chose to purchase a bike from Amazon. Unfortunately, I got the bike out of the box, upstairs to my home, unwrapped (all of which was a lot of work!) - only to find a front flat tire.I went and purchased a bike pump and the tire would not fill all the way. Now I was ready to try to at least put the rest of the bike together and perhaps buy ANOTHER new tire. Well, low and behold one of the front brakes is CUT OFF. Unbelievable and absolutely unacceptable. Now, I have to figure out how I am going to load in my car and get to UPS. I am so unhappy, I may never purchase from Amazon again. Just another sign that companies don't have pride in what they sell and are concerned with shipping the product out and collecting a quick buck.

Oh Dear...

I ordered this bike for my wife two weeks ago. We really liked the color and it seemed it would be a good fit. If this color is what you want do not order the bike at this time. You will get the silver and teal one instead (http://www.amazon.com/Mongoose-Womens-Montana-21-speed-Bicycle/dp/B007VHF7P8/ref=lh_ni_t). We sent it back and got the same one again. They are currently working to fix this problem. But I would check before you order this one. They allowed us to keep the one we didn't want at a reduced price. Customer service was very helpful. But still bummed we didn't get exactly what we wanted.
