Needed immediate repair

The bike was easy to assembly however the chain was far too long and required about 12 links to be removed. Also had to pay $30 for a part. Have no complaints of delivery time as it was received in less than 2 weeks. However the cost to return was prohibitive so I ended up paying for the repairs myself. Probably will not purchase such a heavy item via internet in the future.

Very comfortable and very big

Putting this bike together was rather straight forward, didn't take me long at all, especially considering I haven't put a bike together since maybe 1994.I love the seven gears! I wasn't sure about this before buying it, but I can't stand 21 speed bike when I never use more than four or five gears. Shifts smooth and quick.Ride comfort is good overall. Front shock absorbs a lot more than I thought it really would. Never had a shock before and I really like this although I doubt it would soak up much offroad, but I'm not positive. If I ride on the sidewalk I can go up and down the driveway lips at full speed and it does fine on those.Seat leaves a lot to be desired, however I would assume that to be with any new bike. I went on a 45 minute ride with my wife on city streets and felt it until the next day.Why didn't I rate this 5 out 5?This bike is HUGE. I am 5'4" and have always rode 26" mountain bikes, but this thing is an absolute monster. I have somewhere around a 27" or 28" inseam and the center bar is pushed up into my crotch if I try to stand over it. Trying to kick my leg over this thing is plain retarded. My wife is 6' and ride a cruiser and I am literally as high as she is. I bought this specifically to put a baby carrier on the back and the only way I can keep the carrier on and get on/off is to use a curb... Yeah, a (somewhat) grown man has to use a curb to get on and off this thing with a baby carrier on it.Other than that, it's perfect for me. The ride height it bad enough though I have been debating on returning it.
