Cool bike!

Love the bike.....had a scare when it was delivered by FedEx with big, repaired hole in box but all was well inside. Took about 45 minutes to put together and looks exactly as represented....even the chain is pink! , and for those of us who need comfort the seat is good. I was pleased that $10 of price went to the Susan G. Komen cancer research project. All decorations on bicycle are stickers, not painted on, so in my climate (Florida) they may not last forever.

Fun and easy bike

Researched quite a few single speed bikes through Amazon and major store sites, wanted something easy to use on flat terrain while biking with my two young kids. I knew what I was getting, not a serious road or mountain bike, just a single speed cruiser. I wanted a bike that was cute and fun, and specifically was looking for something pink. Even the chain is pink! The details are lovely...flowers and hummingbirds...they are stickers though, so not sure of their long term durability. Overall, this fit the bill for me. Really like the fact that a portion of the purchase goes to a worthy cause. My husband put the bike together in about 15 minutes. I started using right away, no issues thus far after several days of using. It's exactly what i was looking for, and would suggest to others. Great purchase!

A Great Starter Bike

I wanted a simple,inexpensive bike and this one filled the bill. It is a basic, no frills bike and comes partly assembled. You have to screw on the pedals, seat, handlebars and front wheel. Very easy to do. I did find a screw and nut loose in the carton so check the box carefully for loose parts. The tires needed to be filled with air before I could ride it, so a pump was necessary.The bike rides very smoothly and looks good too! I get many 'nice bike' comments from people. It comes with all the necessary reflectors required by law. I wanted a good starter bike to see if biking around town for errands and recreation was for me. Biking is for me and after more practice with this bike I will upgrade to a more sophisticated bike with gears. (I live in San Francisco and some of the hills in my neighborhood are gonna give me a heart attack) I love this bike and I do recommend this bike for anyone wanting a simple, easy to assemble bike. It made me feel like a kid again!

Great for the price

My 19 yr. old son requested this bike for Christmas. He is not a serious bike rider, just wanted to be able to go if his friends were going. He liked the seat suspension and the look was acceptable. Shipping was fast but when it arrived, pieces of the bike were poking through the box all around but fortunately nothing was seriously damaged (some scratches tho')so I took it to a bike shop to have it assembled and adjusted for his height and to make sure nothing was missing and they said that if he became more serious about riding he would need a bigger frame (not wheel size) as he is 6'2" tall. They also said it had features a more expensive bike would have. My son said it is a pretty heavy bike but everything works well and he is happy with it so far.

A decent starter bike

This Polaris branded bike is by Cycle Force Group, and I think they have done a decent job with it. When I received my bike and first assembled it, there was a problem with the threads on the right crank, and the pedal would not screw in. I used their bike aid website and filled out the warranty information and they sent a new part right away, no questions asked. It has otherwise been a good bike. The frame seems sturdy and the flew points all function well. Some of the components (such as crank sets, gear shifts, brake handles, etc.) are fairly low quality, so any serious rider would probably want to upgrade to better, but for an entry level rider this bike will function just fine for daily use or as a commuter. If you want a real off-road bike or something competitive, I would suggest spending a little more money.

Polaris Ranger

Just started doing some real riding on the Polaris Ranger and had a malfunction. Not really sure what happened, but the derailer started slipping and ended up snapping the chain. I'm kinda of put off by the product, but now I have the need and want to strip it down and make a simpler bike out of it. The handlebars need new grips and a lot of adjustment. The bike definitely needs new pedals out of the box, as the factory ones are very crap. Frame is a little heavy but not horrible. Will definitely need new tires and tubes. Brakes are surprisingly, compared to the rest, o.k.In retrospect, I'm not really angry with my purchase. It is a chinese-made bike. This sort of thing should be expected with any hard riding. If I had the ability to re-do this purchase and find one on craigslist, I would. Decent bikes are on craigslist for this price if not a little more. But I'll live with this.

Product Description

The team in the name of the Pinarello FP Team/Shimano Ultegra 6700 Complete Bike is in reference to our team, the Competitive Cyclist Professional Racing Team. This bike is finished to replicate our team's Dogma 2 framesets, and it's produced exclusively for us by Pinarello. In our biased opinion, it's a handsome bike, and you can't find it anywhere but here.The FP Team is molded primarily from Toray 30HM12k. That means it's a 30-ton High Modulus carbon-fiber cloth with a 12k weave. It has a slightly sloping top tube, an aero down tube for speed, and Onda (wavy) seat stays for shock absorption. As with the team Dogma 2 frames, the head tube sports a slightly bulbous lower end. It's a sporty touch that hides the tapered steerer tube and lower 1-1/4in headset race. The larger bearing and steerer tube used here add to the steering precision and overall fork stiffness along with the elongated fork blades. The fork also has the trademark Onda curves to help smooth out the ride on coarse pavement. The FP Team rides much like the swanky Dogma 2, just a little more stable, with relaxed geometry that suits all day rides and unpredictable road conditions.The parts build on the bike is the ideal group for the self-sponsored rider. The shifting and drive train is almost entirely Shimano Ultegra, with a Shimano 105 12-25t cassette. The rest of the build is comprised of team-finished parts from MOst, Pinarello's in-house component label. It's all stuff that rides well, looks Pro, and saves a bundle. The MOst's Wildcat wheelset is a dependable, everyday wheelset that is aero enough for racing. The rims are 24mm deep with machined braking surfaces and wear indicators. The spokes are radial in front and grouped in sets of three in the rear, with two-cross on the drive side and radial on the non-drive. If they look familiar, it's because these are re-labeled Campagnolo Khamsin wheels, along with Campagnolo quick releases. They're topped off with Pinarello-branded Continental Ultra-Sp

its ok

I bought this bike at my local hardware store. I was looking for something I could use to ride to work in the summer, and to ride for fun. I am by no means a bike fanatic and don't know much about bikes.I am 5'6 and with a slight adjustment to the seat this bike fits me perfectly. The seat is very uncomfortable so I ordered a new seat. The gears don't transition very smoothly and whenever i peddle i feel a tiny thump in one of the peddles. The grippy handles are uncomfortable. I should have worked a few extra weekends so I could have bought a more expensive bike. Without a doubt, if I rode this bike on rough terrain it would break.

Poor quality, Not satisfied

When I got this bicycle, It's quality is very weak. And in the first I rode, it's broken. I am a foreigner, I don't know how I can describe the broken image. And today, the second day I ride, it's left foot pedal is also out of work. I am very angry now. I will need several dollars to fix it. I hope the seller could give me a satisfiable answer about this!!!!!!!

Waste of Money

I have had this bike for over a year and all it does it break down. They work great for the first few months and then everything just starts breaking. The tires are thin and cheap and i get flats every couple of weeks. Costing me about $35 each time. Also, the break pads are terrible. I have had the bike for 11 months and they have had to been replaced 3 times each already....Very costly on that. The warranty is bogus too. Do some research...Don't buy this bike. You will end up putting hundreds into it,

Faults associated with the A2B Bike

I have had the A2B Bike for 5 days and find several negatives that come with it which should be considered before you purchase one. Have just had the privalege of walking my A2B 7 miles after being stranded with it. The tires on it are very cheap and cheesy. They puncture easily and after being deflated they are very soft and mushy. Walked to the bus terminal to take it home thinking I could just drop it in the rack like a normal bike rider could do but NO!! It does not fit. Tires are too fat and the bike is longer than a normal bike and does not fit, hence I was refused to load it and had to walk. Another observation is the power does not always activate when you applicate it. Was at a stop light and after it had turned green at times it had taken 4-5 tries to get it to kick in. I believe the A2B is still too much in it's infancy to be at least dependable.

I have two 2009 A2B Metro with a few thousand miles on them. I use my bike in St Augustine, Florida (flat and wet). I make a commute to work about 9 miles one way and charge my bike at work. I gave it 4 stars because of the upgrades I had to make (mainly tires). Otherwise, I would say it is a 5. I'm writing this review because I buy a lot of stuff on Amazon and I appreciate others taking the time to share their experiences.Overall, I'm happy with this bike. It has a sturdy frame and well designed motor battery system. The bike will be enhanced by some upgrades and I'd recommend doing some research on various forums.[...](do a search on "metro" or "ultramotor")First, the original motors had problems and needed to be replaced. This was done under warranty. I also needed to upgrade the chargers, also under warranty. I think these issues have been resolved on the newer models.The bike gives me a 20 mile range, more if you get the additional battery. I have seen reports of range up to 50 miles with two batteries. I like to pedal and use the accelerator at the same time. This keeps me at about 20mph. Some people have changed the crank to enhance their pedaling and I may consider this. It will go just as fast with pedaling or without. My wife is usually ahead of me and she rarely pedals her bike. I'd prefer a top speed of 30mph, but I think the laws have limited the top speed and motor horsepower.I replaced the original soft Kenda tires with Shinko SR714 DOT approved tire, 2,25x16. This works well, but you may want a scooter store to do this, as it is a tight fit. I had had two flats with the original tires. This upgrade made my bike feel more solid and the rear suspension seemed to work better -- no chain rattle. I don't think I will have another flat. If you don't want to be stranded this is the most important change I'd make.The brake pads need to be replaced often. Semi-metalic Disco Brakes have been reported to wear better. It is a heavy bike and you need to watch the brakes.Ergongrips have been reported to work better and give your hands a rest. I have these on order (from Amazon).Chain noise had been an issue until I changed the tires. Some have recommended flip flopping the upper pulley and metal stay. I'm not sure about this. There may be a better chain tensioner solution.My rear fender cracked, I sawed the back half off. It works fine and looks like it was designed that way. On the other bike I removed it completely. I hear the newer bikes have made improvements on this issue.Make sure you upgrade the rear shock. This may already be upgraded on newer bikes. The elastomer rod and spring combo shock is needed if using an additional battery. Some have found an airshock that works well. Be careful not to carry a person on the rear as the weight could crack the weld.I should mention, that I disconnected a wire that delayed acceleration after I braked. This means that you can ride it in traffic with instant response after braking. The newer bikes don't have this long delay.--------Overall, I give this bike good marks. It has replaced a second car. I gave it to my son. My wife got the Mercedes, but to be honest, I'd much rather use the bike around town.
