Nice comfort bike for the ladies

I bought this bike for my wife, to go along with the bike I bought Schwinn Men's Midmoor Bicycle (Grey). It's a great bike for riding the paved trails and the roads around our house.I gave the mens five stars and this one four due to the main bar placement and lack of accessory attachment points on this one. She was able to attach a water bottle cage by getting a Topeak CageMount and a Topeak Modula Waterbottle Cage 2. So that's not a huge deal, but the lack of rear rack extender bar attachment holes means that it's limited on what type of rack you can get, though there are options like the seat post type that can be used.Pros-----------------InexpensiveQuality componentsStrong frameCons-----------------No water bottle attachment holesNo airpump attachment holesNo rear rack extender bar attachment holesOverall it's a great bike for a great price, it just would have been nice if the main bar was set up higher so attachment points could have been added.

The bike itself (frame, derailleur, etc) is fairly decent. However, I'm not sure of the cause of the difficulties I experienced (shipping, poor manufacturing, etc.) but they are VERY annoying. The rear wheel is out of round, so I will have to make the trip to my local bike shop and spend the extra $$$ to get the spokes tweaked. Maybe this will stop the horrendous squeal coming from the rear brake! Also, the left pedal has a distinct `clunk' coming from it with every revolution, so I will most likely need to upgrade to a better set of pedals. The gears squeaked a little bit, but lubricating the chain has helped. Hopefully that will be a permanent fix! Lastly, I would NOT recommend this bike to anyone who is a newbie around bikes/mechanics. Too many things to adjust and the handlebars alone can be a nightmare to mount correctly!

Fun and Classy

This bike is well made and was package nicely and in such a way that my husband and I could put it together in about an hour. It looks even better in person and both the seat and handles are very comfortable. The gears sift smoothly ( you can feel the sift at all) and you can barely hear the gears shift. The bike feels like a little bit of the old and the new and as a 29 year old lady living on the border-line between the country and the city I love taking my new bike around town. I bought a wicker basket with leather straps for the front (which looks lovely), and I plan to buy a bike rack and rear wicker basket for the back. I would recommend this bike for anyone who is looking for a light to moderate bike ride for exercise, or anyone who is looking for a fun bike to ride around town.
