Mantis Colossus Mountain Bike

May the buy beware... mine came damaged. Seems that I got one the was a return because the tie wraps were cut. Amazon seem to have poor quality control on stuff that is damage in shipping and or defective and doesn't take that product out of the pipe line. I had the same problem with a smoker I bought last year. I didn't send that one back because of the box was destroyed and the size of the product. I did send the bike back , the wheel was bent, the smoker had many dent but was functional as a smoker not pretty to look at but worked. I asked for at lease a 10% discount on the smoker but no luck . I have had no good luck with big idem on Amazon. Never again will I buy large items... As far a the bike it was american made which I liked and seem to be made well just never got the chance to ride it. And yes I know this may not be the spot to write this but maybe Amazon will clean up their act.

Although I rated this bike 5 stars, I feel obligated to mention that it arrived in poor condition. Amazon asks that shipping reviews be submitted through a different feedback system, buy I feel that it should be addressed within the overall review being that it is something that I considered carefully before making my purchase (shipping such a large item). Overall, to include the condition in which it arrived, I would give this product a rating of 3 stars due to the fact that the box arrived severly managled and the rear gear shifft mount was bent to the point that it would not shift properly. I was able to bend the shifter mount back to its correct position, but I feel like it should have been better protected/handled during shipping. Aside from that, I would recommend this bike for anyone looking to start riding again.
