Let me first say that nothing can replace the fun of having a real bicycle or motorcycle. Not recommended for children or in my option; anyone who has not already ridden a bike. This bike came in a single box.It was in four pieces that were easy enough to put together.1. Main frame with the back tire attached2. The seat3. The handle bars4. The front tireIf you can change a tire, you can put this thing together.Didn't need the Assembly Guide, thought, if I had looked at it I would have discovered an easier way to put the tire on. (Useful in the future for changing any tire on a modern street bike)It also comes with a general safety guide which explains the motor. To me it was a bunch of "jebbi jabber." Maybe it's because it is summer and I can't understand anything in this heat. The last thing that it comes with is an instruction manual for the batteries. I felt that this thing was a joke. Pages 1 and 2 were that same, half of page 5 is the same as page 6. I think this is due to the translation from China. The manual has no reflection on how I fell about the bike.It took an hour to assemble, taking my time; some could probably do it quickerWhen I turned the bike on, the lights said that the battery was charged. I gave the bake a test drive around the block in hopes that maybe it was... but as with most things, the battery did not come charged. This does not affect the score either. Most things do not come charged and I would be a moron to assume otherwise. The bike loses points because the lights that tell you that the battery is charged does not give an accurate reflection as to how much power is in the bike. So there is no way to really know when the bike is ready to keel over and die.The battery charges in about two to three hours. The bike works great on medium hills, works well on larger ones. I have not tried this bike on a large hill with a low battery, but on a full and medium full charge; it has preformed well. I have gone up a 45° street with a fraction of the strength needed. In fact, I didn't have to pedal, but remember that this is a hybrid, so pedaling always does help. When the motor is off the bike feels a bit sluggish. At first I didn't know why, but the pedals feed the battery keeping it alive longer. Just keep the bike in a low gear and it's not really a big deal. The bike is a 7 speed, which means that any 21 speed bike can roll faster if the rider is trying hard enough. Also, keep in mind that a good rode bike runs for over a thousand, and this bike is only 6 hundred; 7 with shipping. The rear brakes seem slow. I can not stop "on a dime." I'm sure that once I figure out how to tighten them, they'll be fine.Over all I love this bike and how it feels to ride it to work each day. On the second day I painted it black. I used oil based flat black and the bike never looked better. (See customer images)To anyone else purchasing expensive stuff on Amazon, please leave feedback on stuff you buy. There are like 50 electric bikes online, and only a few had anything useful to say. Reviews and feedback help everyone.

I bought this bike based on Terminal Guard's review and for the most part I agree with him! However, through my experience the bike was easy to assemble and it is a well made bicycle. One of the problems I experienced is that I can only get around twenty miles to a charge of the battery. Much of that is due to the fact that I live in Oklahoma and strong winds are an everyday thing around here. The battery indicator near throttle is innacurate I would suggest a bike computer to help keep track of how many miles you travel unless you dont mind pedaling the rest of the way. Also the charger that I recieved does not charge in 2-3 hours it usually takes four and a half to five hours to charge. Last but not least I wish it had a rear shock absorber like most all mountain bike do these days! But dont let any of those small details stop you from buying this ebike it has been the best bikig experience I have had in years and have ridden it every day since I recieved it!

By Lazzman
I bought this bike on Amazon. It was shipped quickly, and for free. The total cost was $699.00 The shipping box's top flap had been ripped open, but it had been resealed with straps. The bike's pedal's and battery charger were not packaged properly, but were loose in the shipping box.I unloaded the shipping box, and all the parts were there in fairly good condition. The instructions for putting the bike together were poor, mainly photo's. It took me about an hour to put it together. It was nice that a small tool kit was included. It had most of the tools needed to assemble the bike. I charged the battery prior to its' first use.On my first (and so far only) ride I found out that the bike is underpowered for me. I didn't ride on any hills, so its unknown if it will haul me up a hill on battery power only. I did ride on level ground, for about a mile. When I pedaled along with the motor I did well. When I only used the motor the bike took off very slowly, but got better as it built up speed. I think the motor power alone kept me at an average of 10 mph.I recommend that better assembly instructions be included with the bike, and that the instructions include things such as how to fix / change a rear flat inner tube / tire. Also info on how to obtain spare parts, like another battery would be really nice. Overall a pretty good product at a GOOD price!
