I bought this very bicycle directly from Target. I believe the original price was $399.00. But Target sold them off when I bought mine for $140.00 shipping included. For that price it was a relatively good deal. But the bicycle is not a first or even second quality bike. It came un-assembled which was no problem for me, especially at that price. I just put it together with plenty of lock washers. But because it was inexpensively manufactured the wheels bent requiring a new wheel ($130.00) and it really needs a front brake ($60.00 plus$ 20.00 installation and $10.00 for the cable). Further, the gearing on the rear sprocket was too high ($20.00 for 16 tooth sprocket and $20.00 for installation). So after these additions its been just fine. But for the price of $700.00 you can get a really good Linus (or other brand) bike with a three speed internal Shimano hub plus front and rear hand brakes. Should you spent $200.00 more, you can have an 8 speed Shimano internal hub. Then you have a bike assembled by a knowledgeable(you choose)bike shop which will or should have you come back in to have it tuned after you have ridden it a while. And they will make sure you are sitting on it correctly! To learn more about bikes look up Sheldon Brown on the web.
