Not at all what is seen in the photo

I like the bike, it rides well, and is a good value for what you get on the bicycle. However, it is not at all what is seen in the photo. There was no rear portage rack as seen in the photo, and the seatpost and stem/handlebars that arrived on the bicycle were silver, not black. Same with all the cables, they were silver as well. For a 'Shadow' edition, it's way off the mark.It is packaged well, but is not what was pictured when I ordered it. I don't do many amazon reviews, as 99% of the time, the photos and descriptions are very accurate. In this case, they are way off. It will be going back, but I will order another Dahon Vitesse from elsewhere that actually looks like the bicycle is supposed to.

For some years know I want to purchase a folding bike, though, they are so very expensive! Well then I try to reason that it is probably the manufacture cost that made it so expensive, due to its very unique features. So for some years now I looked at it and finally decide I am just gone bite the bullet and buy one. I did not want to buy the entry level one, because I reason if am willing spend that much money I might as well go for bit more. Well I am in the Air Force and have been deployed several times and every time I promise myself; next time I am buying a folding bicycle. There were some sailors, airman and marines at my last deployment with these Dahon bikes and I just gaze at them as they were pedaling off to the Dining Facilities that were about 2.5 clicks (2.5km) from us. But the 2.5km is not the problem, it is that you only have so much time during lunch to go and eat and come back to work ... Like the Army soldier told me one's "we got to hurry up, come on, you can taste your food later".OK so you may ask why I am so upset? Well got my orders to deploy again and thought this is the perfect time... I am a prime member of Amazon so it would be just in time before I have to leave. I come to know even if I fly commercial, the bike will fly for free as long as it is in the a box or those expensive suitcases they have for them . Well for our plane's (C17) it doesn't bother as long as we tie it down, Capt. said. I decide to keep mine in the box for protection. Well I couldn't wait to land and get to my barracks and start to assemble it. Then too my disappointment, the bike had only 3 gears (I am in a deployed environment that we are allowed to go in to the local town = 5km). Amazon state it got 7 speeds, Bull.... It also did not come with the rack it show on the advertisement. WHAT THE .... You got to be kidding me AMAZON!!! "Prime product" with all-inclusive BS! To add to the insult, the bike came with mediocre parts as well. SPRAM Motion 3 gears, look if it is only 3 gears let it at least be SHIMANO! Now I am stuck here, I cannot return it until I get back state side in 6 months or maybe I won't be allowed because I past the 1 month return policy ... AMAZON YOU BLOODY BASTERS!!! $ 700.00 what was I thinking, guess I wasn't...
