When I first recieved the box it was beat up due to shipping. The lower bearing in the head set (Front fork) was missing some ball bearings. So instead of sending it back and paying additional shipping fees and waiting for the shipping company to recieve the bike, then wait for them to send me another bike. I just fixed it myself. I had to go to a local bicycle shop to purchase a 1 1/8" threadless "aheadset" for $25. It took me about 20 minutes to install and it was better than the original.I have had this bike for a while now (8 months) and over all I have had no major issues with it except for the minor shipping issue. The bike handles well! The dual suspension is adjustable and works great for rough terrain, pot wholes and small jumps. I haven't tried big jumps yet but I'm sure the bike could handle it just fine. I would recommend changing the stock seat (as I would recommend for any stock bike) to a gel seat. And if you ride through a lot of mud you may want to add a fender or two.If you are thinking about getting this bike Get it! Most reviews will tell you to get a "good" bicycle in the $400+ range, but that won't get you dual suspension. + I'll do things on this bike that the guys with the $400+ bikes wouldn't dream of doing. I gave this 4 stars because of the shipping issue causing me to put $25 into a new bicycle.
