Beautiful Bike

Very very pretty bike, I'm not sure the picture does it justice. I love the leather seat and handlebars. Rides smooth. I have the 3 speed and it shifts nice and easy. Bought locally and was told it should still shift nice and easy in 5 years. I hope so, it was an expensive bike. Having said that I was glad I bought it locally because they said I could take it in anytime if I had problems and it would be taken care of! It was already assembled, yay, and rode it all the way home! This was a great investment- if it lasts and stays in great shape for over 5 years it will be money well spent. I had bought my daughter an OP bike at Walmart and it already shows signs of wear. I was choosing between a Nirve and a Electra, Nirve is cheeper and the quality in my opinion is the same.

Very nice looking bike, not great quality control

This is my wife's bike. She loves it. it arrived in good shape and the assembly wasn't too bad. Parts appear to be of good quality, but like another owner posted the wheels are not straight. Major wobbles, I imagine the rear rim is bent. He said his was defective, I haven't taking it to the bike shop yet to diagnose, but I will soon. I think nirve is in so cal by me, so maybe I'll check if they have a service center. I did save over $100 buying from amazon, but in retrospect it wasn't worth it taking into consideration the couple hours it took to build and the bad rim.

great bike, but go defective parts from Amazon!

After pitting the bike together and riding for a little bit, turns out the bike wheels were defective, out of the box, by the time i figured it out it was already past the return date and i had to take them to be fixed at a local store, which cost just under $100, and is not a full fix, just made the bike ride-able.Amazon is not the place to buy a bike i guess...
