waste of money

The instructions for putting the bike together may as well be written in Qunignam; the font is too tiny and the directions are nonsensical. I consider myself mechanically adept and it took about 1 hour to put this together. The very first ride, I took a corner, the pedal hit the ground and the metal is so cheap, the pedal snapped right off! Second ride - one of the seat springs broke. I fixed both of those problems, now the bike just squeaks and creaks like it's a hundred years old. I bought a lock for this bike, which I don't use; I'm hoping someone steals it so I can buy a Nirve.

GERMAN BIKE MADE IN CHINA

THIS IS A GOOD QUALITY ALUMINUM BICYCLE. HOWEVER, IF YOU VISIT THE KETTLER BICYCLE WEBSITE, ONE IS LED TO BELIEVE THAT THIS BIKE IS PROUDLY MADE AND SHIPPED FROM GERMANY. THE TRUTH IS THE BIKE IS MADE IN CHINA. THEY SHOULD SAY "IMPORTED" and DESIGNED IN GERMANY. HA HA.
