My take on this bike
By jerseydweller
I just bought this bike and received it a few days ago. I read reviews that complained about the directions and of parts coming loose, but bought it anyway since the price could not be beat. When the product arrived I took out the parts and the directions, and could see exactly what everyone was complaining about. The pictures were dot matrix and blury to say the least, and the bike in the picture was not the same as the one I received. New 26" Folding Mountain Bike Foldable Bicycle 6 SP Speed Shimano, Silver ColorAfter about two hours of trying to make heads or tails of the directions I went online, and could not find any directions that would help. This company does not seem to have any information about this bike. Finally I just took my best guess at it, and assembled it without the directions. It was not that bad since the most important parts were already assembled. My bike is now together, and rides like a dream. The folding mechanism was easy to use, and I am allowed to take it on the train. The only issue I had about parts was the seat moved on my first ride out when I hit a bump. I brought it home and realized that the seat just needed to be tightened a bit more, and now it is fine. I will say that the seat itself is a little uncomfortable, but you get used to it pretty quickly. I would have given this bike at least four stars if it had come with some easy to follow instructions, but alas it did not.

great bike for the price

I understand what people are saying about the directions that comes with this bike, but this bike is not that bad putting together, it comes pretty much assembled, all you really need to put together is the pedals, the seat, the handlebars, the front wheel and adjust the front brakes. The Columba folding bike is identical on how to put this bike together and actually you can go on YouTube and type columba folding bike assembly, and there will be guy with a mountain bike in front of him, just do what he says and you will be find. The tools you will need for this bike is a set of Allen wrenches, a set of regular wrenches, vice grips and a fillips and flat head screwdriver, I hope I helped you guys out, I brought this bike for my fiance for her upcoming birthday and one for myself and I could not have been happier with my purchases, thank you.

how do you put this together?
By kevin okeefe
The directions accompanying this product are absolutely useless. The directions are impossible to read, understand or implement. If you already know bikes, I suspect you will figure it out. If you don't know bikes, like me, you will spend many frustrating hours doing and re-doing. Interestingly, the directions don't even mention how to fold the bike in half, which was the point of the purchase. Given the comparatively low price of this bike, I had realistic expectations about product quality, but I find the lack of comprehensible assembly instructions unacceptable.
