Mongoose boot'r is the best bike for the money (dual suspension)

I love this bike, was looking to upgrade my hard tail in for a dual suspension. The 200mm rockshoxx upfront gives the bike an aggressive look and goes thru anything. The brakes are huge and stop on dime. The rear fox shock is easy to adjust and control in seconds without any tools. And the tires are perfect to flow with the whole package.The only con I have is the seat. The seat is so narrow, feels like its made for a 4 year old.I was thinking of purchasing the trek session 8, but I'm glad I got the boot'r, because both have the same components, but the mongoose is 1/2 the price. Get the aprentice. You won't regret it.

Beach Cruiser

I recently purchased a beach cruiser (Firmstrong CA 520) and I absolutely love it. I originally had a Cannondale Mountain bike for many years but really wasn't using it in the capacity that it was designed for. I really like seeing all the beach cruisers at Virginia Beach boardwalk in Virginia and decided to do some research to see what was good and what I would like as far as changing my style totally. I had found this particular beach cruiser and saved it to my favorites for a while as I continued with my research and after about six months or so I decided the Firmstrong was going to be a good fit, form, function beach cruiser for me. I have taken the bike to the boardwalk all summer and have to admit it was a great choice, I love my beach cruiser.Pete Pilla

too small

I am 6'3 and 280 after talking to a diamondback tech at their customer service center he felt the bike would be big enough. dude you got to be kidding the spec sheet on diamondback web site states the top bar is 24.5 inches from seat post to stem.well the bike arrived delivered on time and it looked like a kids bicycle carton, don't forget the big words 'made in china' displayed proudly on each side.I pop top well lift the top flaps carton already opened, and looked in and quickly got my tape measured the top tube it measured only 22 inches from seat post to stem.needless to say closed the box and returned to amazon no hassles excellent service, and this is no reflection on amazon its diamondback. I would not recommend for anyone over what 5 feet tall hell don't have a clue but be careful take a tape measure out and imagine a crossbar 22 inches in length !

I love, love, love this bike!

In the eight months that I've been riding it around town, hardly a day goes by when I don't receive a compliment from a local person. It rides very well, and has a safe, balanced feeling to it. My one minor complaint is that the paint chips off a little too easily. It has only one coat, that I can see. Primer would have helped. So, I've touched up the few small spots, and now try to be a little more careful where and how I park and lock it. Also, the pedals were on the small side, so I replaced them with ones that are larger, and that grip my shoes better. The original ones would have been fine for someone with small feet. I like how the handle bars are more parallel to each other, and not so splayed out. It helps me to have better control over the steering.I would definitely buy this bike again, if the occasion arose.

The bike was made in China and not what you would expect from Schwinn. Also, the back wheel was warped, not from shipping, but from the manufacturer. We returned it. However,I will say that Amazon was great to work with.
