Happy with this bike!

Two small things. Despite the wrapping there is a very small area which has become scratched. Also the front steering is tight and may need lubrication. Overall a cute bike that was relatively easy to assemble and was packaged well.

ordered bike for my daughter, I was very happy with the quality and overall appearance. The only negative; paint was scratched in several spots, not enough to return item but enough to consider it. Although schwinn took steps to prevent damage it still occured.

Pretty, but heavy

It is very pretty and easy. But it's too heavy and has no break. I used it for only one month, now its rear tire was flat. I'm so unhappy.

Very nice... but lacking a little attention to detail

I bought this bike for my wife. I really liked the idea of a chain less bike. The D-drive works great and Shimano shift mechanism is smooth. It seems strange to me to have a cantilever hand brake along with a coaster brake both on the rear tire. I've been trying to adjust the hand brake but still get some brake chirp while riding.The fenders seem cheap and constantly rub. The bike is a beach cruiser with a little wider tires and I think need a little wider rims.Overall it is still very nice!

This bike is OK

I was looking for a new beach cruiser and saw this bike on Amazon. I loved the idea of a chainless bike, and thought it would be perfect to ride on the beach-- after all it's a beach cruiser.Unfortunately, I was disappointed as it arrived with a warning sticker on it that it should not be exposed to sand or it could harm the gears. Oh well! My husband, who is an excellent bicycle mechanic, assembled the bike and to this day he cannot get the hand brake adjusted so it actually works. This isn't a big deal since the bike does have coaster brakes. On the other hand, when you have a hand brake available, you tend to think it's going to be there to help you stop.The next two disappointments were the size and weight of the bike. I am 5'1", and the bike is huge for me-- the size works better for my husband who is 5'9", but it's a woman's bike and is pink. The bike is also heavy. A friend of mine just purchased a Trek beach cruiser and it's aluminum and must be at least 10 pounds lighter. The price was a little less. It's also the right size for her.This review may sound like I hate this bike, but I don't. What I do think is that there is quite a bit of room for improvement. There s/b a disclosure about not riding the bike in the sand before purchasing it. They should work on the brake problem, and offer the bicycle in a few frame sizes. Finally, for the price they could lighten it up.

Beautiful, but not as sturdy as I'd like

I really wanted a chainless cruiser bike, so this seemed to fit the bill. It is a really attractive bike: bubble-gum pink and white with white-wall wheels. The gears and brakes seem great. The fenders are really flimsy, though, and have a tendency to misalign. The seat is particularly whimpy, which is kind of a pain since it needs to support me!!!I am going to be taking it in to a bike shop to see if they can help me tighten it up so it seems sturdier.

The Greatest Birthday Gift Ever

I just recently turned 16 and I asked my parents for a bike, they let me choose a bike under 250 dollars. Unfortunately this one cost 50 dollars more. My friend owns this bike and recommended it highly, so I spent 50 dollars for it. The bike came in three days on the 3-5 day shipping option. It came in perfect condition and it came with all of the tools and parts for me to assemble it. That night I was able to ride it to work. This is by far the best present I have ever recieved.

Love this cruiser!

I have always lived in the mountains and owned a mountain bike, but when I moved to the valley I decided I needed a cruiser. I found the full line of Nirve bikes in a local bike store and fell for the tough looks of this red and black Classic Cruiser mens bike. I am a 35 year old 5'6 woman and this bike is just the right size for me. I bought the bike from Amazon because the price and shipping just couldn't be beat. It arrived in just a couple days and was fairly simple for me to put together. It rides super smooth and looks great (love the red spokes). I also got a detachable basket for the front and an awesome retro bike light to finish it off. I ride it to work every day and love it.

This is an excellent bike for short-medium range rides to work. The bike iscomfortable, easy to build, inexpensive, and beautiful in design. I am verycomfortable while riding. The saddle and grips both have a great feel, andI am very comfortable in my riding position. I wouldn't change a thingabout it.This bike has the looks and feel of the $800-1500 Dutch/European CityBikes, but without the hefty price tag. This is an excellent bike forshort-medium range rides to work - my ride is 3-4 miles mostly flat. Thetan tires look great, and I cannot believe all the freebies that come withit. Definitely the best value out there. I was planning on purchasing aLinus or Biria, but when I saw this bike it was a no brainer. I even wentinto a bike shop to get some air and the mechanics could not believe thequality of this bike when I told them how much I paid for it!The frame sizes were pretty straight forward. I was in between sizes so Iwent for the smaller one and feel great on it. I have ordered many bikesonline and this was by far the easiest to assemble. I would definitelyrecommend this bike and brand.
